Company history

TSL is an extraordinary story which includes one of the fastest-growing, digital communities of any profession anywhere as well as a 100 year old print heritage. Today, with over 1.5 million registered online users in over 196 countries it is the largest online network of teachers in the world. It is now a privately-owned, PE-backed company.

We believe that investment in our products and in the teacher community makes good business sense as well as being critical to the future of the education system and those who work tirelessly to educate children and students all over the world. Spanning the full range of education from Primary to Higher, the company has grown and changed hugely since it was born in 1910 as a simple supplement to a national daily newspaper.
