The Times Higher Education Awards - recognising outstanding talent, creativity and imagination in UK higher education.

Institutions, departments and individuals are invited to compete in a total of 18 categories that aim to highlight and celebrate the achievements of the sector at a time of real adversity.

For the first time, the 2012 awards will also include a category for Business School of the Year, which is open to private providers and those within the state-funded university sector.
